James is a Managing Director and is responsible for all UK investments. Prior to joining ActivumSG in 2019, he worked at Lone Star Funds covering UK, Irish and Scandinavian real estate acquisitions. Previously he worked at Brockton Capital, a UK-focused real estate private equity manager.

James started his career at Credit Suisse, where he was a member of the Real Estate Private Fund Group. Throughout his various roles, James has had extensive experience investing in direct real estate, non-performing loans and operating businesses.

He graduated with an MEng in Engineering with Business Finance from University College London and the London School of Economics.
