Stefan is Head of Corporate Transactions and an Investment Committee member at ActivumSG, with strategic oversight of the Corporate Transactions teams. Prior to joining the firm in 2012, he was Head of M&A and Corporate Investments at HSH Nordbank AG managing the corporate equity investments portfolio of 150 subsidiaries and divestment of the “non-core” subsidiaries. 

Stefan also headed the Financial Institutions M&A business at Sal. Oppenheim. Together with earlier positions held at Bankhaus Metzler and PwC, he has over fourteen years of experience as an M&A advisor for leading European financial institutions and private equity houses and also as an advisor to real estate investors. 

Stefan graduated from Albert-Ludwig University in Freiburg with a diploma in Economics and received a MS in Finance from University of Wisconsin, Madison.
